Dr. Shyam Skha

Dr. Shyam Shakha is a renowned chest physician, prolific story writer [teller] and film-maker. So far more than 30 of his books have been published. In this novel, he has picked up the rarely touched subject that partly borders on eccentricity. Due to the compulsion of the job, the new generation has to leave their parents alone and go out in search of livelihood. This search sometimes take them abroad, but they keep constantly worried about their parents. The situation becomes more serious when it is the case of leaving the mother alone. “This book opens with a son and daughter-in-law looking for alternatives to overcome the loneliness of the mother.

The best solution they can think of is to find a partner for her. As the story progresses, one interesting twist to another unfolds like the twisting turns of a hilly trail. The story takes an interesting turn with involvement of the mother in this. The reader also gets mesmerized by the turns of events. Not only does the story pass through sometimes pleasant and sometimes frightening paths of this quest but the readers are also amazed by witnessing the vagaries of human behaviour and mind, especially the adult female mind. Gradually the readers are exposed to many unknown layers of female psyche and sexuality.
